June 25. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A new rocket has hit this Saturday, the third in a week, in a gas field located in northern Iraq and managed by an Emirati company, as confirmed by local authorities, who have not yet ruled on the possibility that there are fatalities.
Security sources cited by the Rudaw agency have indicated that a Katyusha-type projectile has once again hit the Jor Mor field, in the Chamchamal district, located in the province of Sulaimaniya.
The previous impact caused a fire in the area and, as already happened, no group has assumed responsibility for the attack.
During the day on Wednesday, at least two contractors were slightly injured by the impact of another projectile in the Jor Mor field, after which the Emirati company Dana Gas stressed that “there was no damage” and that “production operations continued normally and without interruptions”.
