Nintendo has informed Nintendo Switch users that sudden changes in weather and low temperatures can cause condensation on the device and damage it, so it has explained the procedure to prevent this from happening.

The Japanese company has not given details about how this change of matter occurs on its console, but it has shared an image in which it shows drops of water on the screen of the nintendo switchso it warns that this can affect the panel of the device.

In the event of this phenomenon, Nintendo recommends turning off the device and “place it in a warm room until the water droplets dry”, as it has commented. via Twitter.

To turn off the power of the machine and avoid the risk of crashing, the power button should be pressed for about three seconds, to display the power menu. To turn it off completely, select ‘Power Options’ and then ‘Power Off’.

Nintendo has reminded that the ‘software’ must be saved before turning off the console, as any data not previously saved will be lost.
