July 3 (EUROPA PRESS) –
President Yoon Suk Yeol’s approval rating has fallen to 45 percent, while 51 percent of the population believes that he is not doing a good job as head of state.
According to the Research View study published by the official news agency, Yonhap, the president has suffered an eight-point drop in his approval rating in just over a month. In the May 28-30 study, Yoon’s disapproval rate was 40 percent.
By age, it stands out that 61 percent of those between 50 and 60 years old reject Yoon’s performance, a jump of 22 percentage points compared to the last study.
The study is based on 1,000 interviews with South Koreans aged 18 and over between Tuesday and Thursday, coinciding with Yoon’s trip to Madrid to participate in the NATO summit. It has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points.
