Almost 360 entrepreneurs participate in the second stage of the entrepreneurship, innovation and business training program, Emprende USS, promoted by NOVO with the support of Banco Santander.
In full development is the USS Undertake Programan initiative promoted by NEW of the San Sebastian Universitywhich encourages and develops acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary to undertake and innovateaimed at students and graduates of the USS, who have an idea to design a business or who already have a business underway.
In the contest, which It has prize money awarded by Santander Bankand which began in June, have participated, in the initial stage, 357 women and men entrepreneurs, through 160 teamsrepresenting all the branches of the House of Studies and their undergraduate and postgraduate levels, graduates and Evening/Advance.
During this period they have participated in the digital courses in emprende.uss.clwhich have allowed them to acquire knowledge about the methodology Design Thinkingdetection of opportunities, definition of problems and business modelto continue with the module solution design.
At the same time, they have implemented face-to-face workshops at all USS locations on Design Thinking and Business Model, instances that have fostered knowledge among entrepreneurs, opening opportunities to work on their own projects, based on a experiential learning methodtogether with expert mentors in the field of entrepreneurship and have already presented their first pitchfor which they also received personalized advice from the NOVO team.
Indeed, this instance of initial mentoring will allow each project to match with a tutor from the USS Mentor Network based on their detected needs and in accordance with the focus of the project. The mentors will be available from September providing mentoring sessions to all participating teams. Notably This Network has more than 30 academic mentors who are experts in innovation and entrepreneurship methodologies.both from the USS, as well as from other universities and the I+E ecosystem.

In the extension line of the program, on Thursday, September 8, from 7:00 p.m., the keynote speech will be held online “I want to be successful”in charge of Maximiliano Pacheco, CEO of Fair Franchises – Mammatera VGroupwho will tell all his experience and learning on his way of undertaking.
