In the same style as Zelda: Breath of the Wild, SEGA wants to test 3D technology to create an open world Sonic, the title will be named after sonic frontiers. It’s coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Nintendo Switch on November 8.
With months to go before the launch, the company has taken advantage of the Gamescom 2022 conference to present and share new images of gameplay and history.
We see Sonic facing off against a mysterious villain who has the technology to wipe out the inhabitants of Sonic’s world. Next, the preview jumps to the gameplay, where we see that it can be played in 2D and 3D.
Amy Rose also joins the cast of playable characters. Everything seems to indicate that we will have to free Sonic’s friends, who have been kidnapped by this futuristic technology.
The standard version of the game will go on sale for $60 and will include the following content: Base Game (physical or digital), Adventurer’s Treasure Box, Skill Points, Red Seeds of Power and Blue Seeds of Defense.
