MADRID 3 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least five people have been killed and eight others wounded in an Israeli bombing raid in the center of Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, as part of Israeli bombings that they say target the Lebanese Shiite militia party Hezbollah.

The Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health has provided the casualty toll, indicating that the attack took place in the Al Bashura neighborhood, after three people succumbed to their injuries. Minutes earlier, this organization had reported the death of two people.

In addition, he has indicated through a statement published on his profile on the social network X that the people who have been injured have been taken to the hospital. For its part, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have limited themselves to announcing that they are bombing the capital and have indicated that they will provide more details soon.

These victims are added to the 46 dead and 85 injured registered during the day due to bombings by the Israeli Army in different parts of the country. In the last two weeks, Israeli actions have left more than a thousand dead, among whom Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah stands out. Since then, more than a million Lebanese and Syrians have fled the country, most crossing the border into Syria.
