Kris Jenner revealed that she will undergo surgery after doctors found a tumor in her ovary.
In this week’s episode of The KardashiansThe 68-year-old mom is on vacation in Aspen when she shares a scary health update with her boyfriend. Corey Gamble and daughters Kim, Khloe and Kendall.
“I wanted to tell you something… I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound,” she says before breaking into tears. “They found, and this makes me very sensitive, a cyst and a small tumor in my ovary.”
“Dr. A told me I needed to have my ovaries removed and I’m so excited because you guys were so helpful to me,” she tells her family. “That’s where all my children were conceived and grew, in my belly. So this is a very sacred place for me.”
Kim said she feels “really sad” for her mother, admitting she can’t imagine what she’s going through or how scared she must feel about the surgery. Khloé then greets her sister Kourtney on the phone so Kris can tell him the news.
“I totally understand how my mom feels because I would feel the same way,” Kourtney said. “It’s her feminine power and it doesn’t mean that I’m taking away from who she is or what she’s been through, but I would feel sentimental about what she’s created.”

“If I can get through hip replacement surgery, I can get through this,” Kris said. “I’m not nervous about being put to sleep. I’m not nervous about Dr. A, she’s the best doctor in the world. But then they put her on you and… it’s so real.”
Kris continued to cry and admitted that this is a sign that she is getting older and that she is done with this part of her life. “It’s a whole chapter that has just closed,” she added.
In a confessional statement, Kendall said she understands why her mother is sad, but if her ovaries are “potentially hurting her” and she no longer needs them, then it’s time to “get them out of there.”
Kim then lightened the mood by suggesting that the family should throw a “farewell party for ovaries.” Corey also tried to lift Kris’s spirits by surprising her with a gift.
“I have something to help you with your energy,” she said before handing him a black fur coat. “I don’t want you to be sad. You’re going to cry at least 15 more times, so I just want you to have a gift.”
“I’m going to be okay… I have you guys,” Kris said. “People often ask me what the best job I’ve ever had is, and I’ve always said: Mom. The greatest blessing of my life was being able to give birth to six beautiful children.”
