Baldur's Gate 3 has been crowned Game of the Year at the Game Developers Choice Awards, an edition in which The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Venbal have also stood out.
Larian Studios' role-playing game inspired by Dungeons and Dragons has closed the 24th edition of the Game Developers Choice Awards as the most awarded title, collecting recognitions such as the game of the year, best narrative, best design and the audience award.
Behind the, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Venbal, with two recognitions each. The Nintendo title has stood out in innovation and technology, while Venbal, from Visai Games, has won the award for best debut and social impact.
The winners complete Alan Wake 2 from Remedy Entertainment / Epic Games, for best visual art; HiFi Rushfrom Tango Gameworks / Bethesda Softworks, for best audio; Fawzi Mesmar, who has won the ambassador award; and Yoko Shimomurawhose career has been recognized.
The Game Developers Choice Awards are presented within the framework of Game Developers Conference, after the selection of game creators invited by the International Choice Awards Network (ICAN) organization.
