Microsoft announces the new Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 with AI and aimed at the professional market



Microsoft has renewed its lines of Surface laptops and convertibles with the announcement of the new Surface Laptop 6 and of the Surface Pro 10.

Both devices maintain the essence of their predecessors, but they jump fully on the “Artificial Intelligence” train with the incorporation of low-consumption Intel Core Ultra processors with NPU and the copilot key. Specifically, the Surface Pro 10 has a Core Ultra 7 165U or a Core Ultra 5 135U with up to 64 GB of LPDRR5X memory and 1 TB of NVMe SSD.

It includes a new 2K (1440p) resolution camera with four lenses and support for Microsoft AI effects accelerated by the Intel NPU. Its screen is 13 inches with 120 Hz frequency and 2,880 x 1,920 pixel resolution.

On the other handthe Surface Laptop 6 will have a Core Ultra 5 135H or a Core Ultra 7 165H within the two 13.5 and 15-inch models that will be available with resolutions of 2,256 x 1,504 and 2,496 x 1,665 pixels respectively. Starting from 8 GB of RAM onwards, with options for integrated Intel HD or Arc graphics.

Unfortunately, both the Surface Pro 10 and the Surface Laptop 6 will not be sold directly to conventional consumers, but will be focused on the professional market and will be sold through distributors specialized in that sector or from Microsoft itself. Its starting price is $1,199.
