The Nubia Z60 Ultra is a smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which has been on the market since the end of last year. Now, the Chinese manufacturer owned by ZTE has announced the launch of a new variant which will have an overclock on the processor.
It will be a somewhat striking launch, since improvements are usually launched at the software level through updates and not with a revision with a little more speed in the SoC. Snadragon 8 Gen 3 There are versions with slightly higher speeds in Samsung terminals, but it seems that ZTE also wants to give a boost to the performance of this processor in its flagship.
The company also seems to want to take advantage of the opportunity to introduce “Artificial Intelligence” among promotional materials to jump on the bandwagon. There will really be no difference in these capabilities compared to the December version, but today It seems that everything has to have AI as its star feature.
As for speed improvements, it seems that instead of having a Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, it will increase it up to 3.4 GHz: The same will happen with the Adreno 750 GPU, which will go from 0.9 GHz to 1 GHz. Therefore, we have an improvement of only 100 MHz in the main number and in the graphics.
