“Spider-Man” co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland are officially engaged, according to family sources.
The confirmation came after Zendaya appeared at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, wearing a large diamond ring on the ring finger of her left hand. Holland, however, was not present at the ceremony.
A family source confirmed to People magazine that the couple, both 28, got engaged over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Another source close to the couple shared that those close to them knew the engagement was imminent and noted that Holland had been eager to propose for a long time.
“He’s always been crazy about her,” the source said. “He always knew she was the one. “They have something very special.”
While the engagement is official, the couple is in no rush to get married. “For now they will just enjoy things,” the source said. “They are both busy with work and Tom has always had that sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his. “Now it’s official, it really is.”
Holland and Zendaya will return for the fourth Spider-Man movie, which will begin filming this summer. The two first met on the set of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, where Holland played iconic superhero Peter Parker and Zendaya played his love interest, MJ.
They also reprized their roles in Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). The couple is also set to star together in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, The Odyssey.
