March 31 () –

The President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelensky, recalled this Friday how exactly one year ago the “egregious truth” of what had happened in the town of Bucha during the first stages of Russia’s military offensive became known and has claimed that the ” Russian murderers” be held accountable.

The withdrawal of the Russian troops and the subsequent entry of the Ukrainian ones in Bucha marked a milestone for which it came to light, since in this town the corpses of civilians executed arbitrarily and places of torture were found that revealed possible crimes of war and against humanity.

“When Bucha was vacated, the atrocious truth of what was happening in the temporarily occupied territories was revealed to the world,” Zelenski said, in a message on his social networks that he accompanied with a video of various international leaders visiting the area.

“We will never forget the victims of this war and without a doubt we will bring all the Russian murderers to justice,” proclaimed the Ukrainian president, who has publicly acknowledged that discovering what happened in Bucha has been one of the worst days since the beginning of the conflict.
