How does the gachapon work? The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Not at all, the gachapon element was incorporated into The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom literally like a gachapon machine, which works after the user deposits some kind of coin and throws in a toy or miniature figure.

The new game in the series will not feature any online elements or microtransactions, so players won’t be able to spend real money, instead having to use the Zonai Charges or Zonaite resource (dropped by certain enemies upon defeat) to make it work. the gachapon machine, which will drop capsules with Zonai parts (via IGN), which are the ones that Link can use to build different devices that will help him on his adventure.

It is important to mention that players will not get to the point where progress will be blocked because they do not have the correct Zonai part and luck is not helping them to get out of the capsules of this gachapon machine. We say this because it will be possible to find Zonai devices already built in certain parts of the map (via npr).

In case you missed it: fans believe that Ganondorf will be like Thanos in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
