Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be available on May 12, 2023 for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has shown a video, to those who call nintendo directwith news in video games for its successful hybrid-portable console Switch. In the video we can find a multitude of games with different themes, but the star left it for last. At the end of this 40-minute video, we were able to see a new trailer for the sequel to the first Zelda that came to Nintendo Switch. This sequel has been called Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomswhich has also been known up to now as Breath of the Wild 2.

Not only did we get to see new footage of the new Zelda game that will continue the story of Breath of the Wild, but Nintendo too has set a release date which was previously scheduled for the next spring. The May 12, 2023 we will be able to buy this new Zelda game to continue with the story.

On this occasion and from what little we have seen, Link will have to go through the map of Hyrule that will now be full of small rocky islands in the skyhelping himself to move through the clouds with a glider contraption very different from the one used in the first installment of the game.

In addition to this expected Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo also has announced other great titles for your console with different release dates. Among them we find new characters for Mario Strickers, Pikmin 4, a new Fire Emblem, the second part of Octopath Traveler or the Resident Evil Village Cloud. You can see the full video here.
