Zacian and Zamazenta will return to Pokémon GO to celebrate a special event

As we told you, the 2022 Pokémon World Championship has already begun and with it the distribution of the gifts prepared by The Pokémon Company began.

As we told you, the main gift for Pokémon GO it would be a T-shirt with a special design of the event. Well, the code is already available: WRGUZRVKRR2M3. You just have to redeem this code within the game before Sunday, August 21 at 6:59 PM (Mexico City time).

Pokémon GO welcomed the legendary wolves of Galar, Zacian and Zamazenta, 1 year ago. Since then, these characters have not returned to the title. If you missed your chance to catch them, we have great news for you, as they will be back very soon to commemorate a very special event in the franchise.

In August 2019 The Pokémon Company announced with great fanfare that the following year’s edition of the Pokémon World Championship would be held in London, England. However, the pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 editions.

The good news is that this year it will finally come true and the 2022 Pokémon World Championships are just a few days away from finally being held in London, England, precisely from August 18 to 21. As in the last edition, there will be a championship dedicated to Pokémon GO in which the best players from around the world will compete for a fantastic trophy.

Pokémon GO will celebrate the world championship of the game

Well, on the occasion of this competition, Pokémon GO You will receive special content. First, you should know that the winners of the championship of Pokémon GO they will receive super exclusive animations that show the avatar raising a trophy just like the one they will win in real life.

On the other hand, those attending the event will be able to visit a special Poképarada that will give them a t-shirt with a themed design. Players who tune in to the event online will also be rewarded, as they will be able to redeem a code for a t-shirt for the avatar that will appear on the stream. Additionally, there will be 3 Galar Contender uniforms in the in-game store.

As for Pokémon, the star of the event will be a new Pikachu with a new and very elegant costume that will appear from August 18 to 23 in Raids, Field Research or the Temporary Research, which will also offer 1 fast attack elite TM and 1 Charged Attack MT.

Other protagonist Pokémon will be Zacian and Zamazenta, legendary from the cover of Pokémon Sword & Shield, UK-inspired titles, appearing in 5-star Raids. Additionally, Pokémon that evolve into Rhyperior, Gengar, Gyarados, Metagross, and Talonflame evolved during the event will learn the moves Rock Breaker, Shadow Punch, Aqua Tail, Meteor Punch, and Scorch, respectively.

During the event, players will also be able to enjoy triple Stardust bonuses in the GO Battle League and the ability to play up to 50 competitive battles per day. Likewise, in Poképaradas you can find trainers with a team similar to the one used by the winners of Regional Championships of Pokémon GO.

But that’s not all, more Pokémon will appear during this event and here is a list.
