Dec. 27 (Portaltic/EP) –
Youtube music is working on a new update that offers its users synchronized musical content and lyrics, an interface available at the moment only when streaming said service from a phone Android yet Chromecast Ultra.
A reddit user has seen how this new feature of Google’s streaming content platform looks similar to what Apple presents with its functionality Apple Music Sign, recently released.
Unlike this other service, which in turn is very similar to the one presented by Spotify, the YouTube one shows the lyrics of the fixed songs when the tracks are played, according to the capture shared by this user.
In it you can see how these lyrics, which are synchronized with the music being played, are placed on the left side, while on the right are the album cover, the title and the name of the artist.
According to the user of the aforementioned forum, those songs whose lyrics are not available will only show the album cover, the title of the song and the name of the artist or artists in the center of the screen.
As they remember in 9to5Google, The company expressed its intention to add lyric-related functionality to its platform and that it would do so through a partnership with the lyrics app. MusixMatch.
However, since XDA Developers They point out that YouTube Music does not offer this functionality natively when viewing lyrics on a tablet or smartphone. This would indicate that, for the moment, it would be exclusive during transmission from a device to a Chromecast Ultra.
