The three interesting novelties that YouTube has just released for users of the Windows environment.
Youtube It is the most widely used video platform in the world, and we can access it through any web browser or in the dedicated application, be it on the mobile phone, television or even on our game console.
Be that as it may, now YouTube is implementing different updates on the server side with improvements that users of Windows 10 and Windows 11. New features include an improved dark mode, more playback controls, and a higher bitrate.
These changes are now coming to YouTube on Windows 10 and Windows 11and perhaps the most notable novelty is the addition of two new playback buttons, the back button and the forward button, which allow us to skip forward or backward 10 seconds.
These buttons offer us to be able to go 10 seconds forward or 10 seconds backwards, in case we want to skip a particular scene.
Currently, it is now possible to go back or forward five seconds in videos using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
Improved dark mode and better bitrate
The other novelty it’s an improved dark mode, which updates the search box suggestions to respect the theme of our device. Previously the search box lacked support for dark mode.
And the third novelty has to do with the implementation of the new premium tier 1080p with higher bitrate support for a better viewing experience on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
This option is only available to premium subscribers and improves the capability of 1080p videos by increasing their bitrate.
Thus, with this update, the new YouTube premium 1080p option now works in all regions and configurations, including access to YouTube that we make on our favorite operating systems.
