March 3 (Portaltic/EP) –
Microsoft has introduced new settings in the ‘chatbot’ of your Bing search engine so that users who are testing it can select a more creative or more precise approach in the answers it offers.
Most of the users of the new Bing powered by ChatGPT artificial intelligence You can select one of the two available modes, with which you can modify the chatbot’s personality.
On one hand, the creative mode, which offers the answers with a more “original and imaginative” touch. On the other, the precise mode“much more factual”, as the person in charge of Web Services has commented, Mikhail ParakhinOn twitter.
Now almost everyone – 90% – should be seeing the Bing Chat Mode selector (the tri-toggle). I definitely prefer Creative, but Precise is also interesting – it’s much more factual. See which one you like. The 10% who are still in the control group should start seeing it today.

These new settings follow the last changes made by Microsoft, which reduces both the cases in which Bing refuses to answer “for no apparent reason” as “the instances of hallucinations in responses“.
