The leaders of Podemos, invited until the last moment
The second vice president of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, has stated this week that she wanted the presence of Podemos at the event this Sunday in Madrid and has expressly requested her support from the party’s general secretary, Ione Belarra, considering that “at the moment key to history”, “in which the history of a country can change”, “you have to be there”.
“Citizen, historical moments of change need many hands. What has happened with Sumar is that the citizens are mobilizing. Everyone fits, all forces, of course we can too. It has played a key role in our country and there is no excuse for it not to be there”, declared the Minister of Labor this Thursday. “I would love for the leaders of Podemos to be there. I am convinced that there will be many people from Podemos ”, she insisted.

Since 11:00 in the morning, hundreds of people have been queuing to access the Magariños sports center and witness the launch of Yolanda Díaz’s candidacy. Among the early risers politicians, who have already arrived at the event, are Ada Colau, Mónica García or Rita Maestre.
“Illusion overflows the streets right now”, they have pointed out from Sumar on their social networks when they see the queues at the doors of the sports center. Stickers have been distributed among those who were waiting, with a photo of the leader of Sumar and a play on words: La Fashionaria.
