Yemen's Defense Minister survives an attack on his convoy in the south of the country

March 25 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Yemen’s Defense Minister, Mohsen al Daari, has survived an attack on his convoy in the governorate of Taiz, in the south of the country, military sources have reported to the South24 portal.

The attack would have taken place in the town of Al Kadha, according to these sources, with a drone, a usual modus operandi of the Huthi insurgency, which has not yet ruled on the matter.

The minister was accompanied by the chief of the Yemeni Army General Staff, Sagheer bin Aziz, whose state of health is unknown for now.

The convoy had left the port city of Moca where, this past Friday, the minister and the chief of staff participated in a meeting of the security leadership with a delegation from Saudi Arabia, a great ally of the Yemeni government in the conflict.
