Xiaomi’s 3D LED strip arrives in Spain: flexible, reacts to sound and with ambient lighting

One of the main features of the Xiaomi Smart Lightstrip Pro, according to the manufacturer, is its versatility. This is built of flexible materials that allow you to shape it to your liking.

Each strip is two meters long and contains 60 LEDs that can reproduce a wide range of colors. If it falls short, we can also add extensions (Xiaomi Smart Lightstrip Pro Extension Pack) of one meter each until reaching a maximum length of 5 meters.

One interesting feature is that the strip can change color in 20 centimeter segments. At the control level, in addition to the physical command, we can also use the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app on our smartphone to adjust colors, sensitivity and effects.

Regarding the latter, it should be noted that the LED strip has a built-in microphone to react to sound and reproduce lighting, for example, to the rhythm of music to create an even more personalized environment.

Xiaomi explains that the Smart Lightstrip Pro has also been designed for interact with games. This can be a good alternative for more gamer users of the device.

To achieve this interaction with games it will be necessary to install the Razer ChromaTM RGB or Asus Aura Sync software, so this feature is limited to PC users and not console users.
