Xiaomi's 200 W fast charge would already be ready and would come to unseat Realme

Xiaomi finally has its 200 W fast charge ready that it showed a year ago and that was capable of charging a mobile device from 0% to 100% in just 8 minutes.

Mobile device manufacturers continue a race to offer the most powerful and therefore fastest fast charging. To date, the podium was occupied by a company: realme. Just a few days ago, it launched a mobile device with a fast charge of 150 W, this being the most powerful on the market.

But this title would be about to change owners. A few years ago Xiaomi announced that they were preparing a fast charge of 200 W, but from saying to doing there is a long way and it has not been until today that this proposal has materialized. The Asian firm has commented that it already has this fast charge ready.

What does this mean? The quick answer is that Xiaomi would have a 200 W load that could see the light any day of these in a terminal that the company decides to present. Of course, this charge would not arrive alone and, in fact, would be accompanied by a wireless charge that would also enjoy good speed and power..

They would also have managed to develop and, most importantly, certify a 120 W wireless fast charge. What they have shown and what has come to us thanks to gizmochina they are lThe times it would take to charge a 4,000 mAh battery from 0% to 100%, which is a fairly standard figure today.

In the case of cable charging, what has been seen is that going from a completely discharged device to one that is fully charged would only take eight minutes.. The figure is quite spectacular, but it should always be taken with some caution since we have not been able to test this loading speed in person.

If we make the jump to fast wireless charging, the time would increase, to go from 0% to 100% in a battery of the aforementioned capacity, it would be necessary to wait 15 minutes.. It is still quite a ridiculous time if we take into account that we think that with less than 20 minutes we get a fully charged battery.

It has taken a year to wait for Xiaomi to certify this charging speed, but the wait has been completely worth it and, in fact, what we expect now is that the Asian manufacturer launches a device with these fast charges to be able to put the glove on it and tell you about our experience of using it on a day-to-day basis.
