He adds, regarding the profitability of this new market niche, that in addition to hardware gains, Xiaomi also cares about software gains. He explains that they have built their own automobile base in Yizhuang in Beijing, and that they plan to build a complete vehicle factory with an annual output of 300,000 cars.
