I have been using robot vacuum cleaners in my house for many years. The first model I had was quite simple, with a small tank and did not have a WiFi connection, Bluetooth or remote control. I had to press a button. Two robot models later, I have analyzed the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Pro and I am afraid that I will no longer leave this type of robot with a self-emptying base.
Robot vacuum cleaners are automatic and normally all you have to do is press a button on your phone or tell Google or Alexa to get to work. Little else, but once it’s finished you should clean its tank.
It’s not pleasant to clean those deposits, but worse is having to vacuum and do it yourself. So, it’s a minor problem, but a problem nonetheless.
Therefore, choosing a robot vacuum cleaner with a cleaning tower like the Robot Vacuum X20 Pro It is an option that, once you try it, you will not be able to leave behind.
They are all advantages. Not only is the robot powerful and quite capable when it comes to navigating a traditional house in Spain, maintenance is so minimal that there is no doubt, you need a robot vacuum cleaner, but you need it with a cleaning tower.
You fill the clean water tank to the maximum, put the bag of solids in its specific space, plug it in, configure it in its application, create a schedule so that it cleans your house every day, every other day or a few days a week in the schedule that best suits you and that’s it, you won’t have to touch this robot for several weeks.
Tower robot vacuums aren’t cheap, but they’ll drop in price sooner rather than later
There are an incredible number of robot vacuum cleaners on the market, but Xiaomi has so many that it is difficult not to find a model that does not suit your needs and budget. But I am sure that we are going to start finding many more models with this type of charging and cleaning bases. Above all, they are becoming cheaper and cheaper, because exactly the same thing happened when these types of appliances began to become popular.
This Xiaomi model costs about 500 euros without discounts and for many people it may be too high a price. There are cheaper models like the x10 or the X20+but this model brings together the best of everything: instead of a mop, it has two rotary mops, an automatic drying system that lasts 2 hours to ensure that it is not a source of bacteria, large water tanks, great autonomy and a simple, but efficient navigation system.
Is 500 euros a lot of money for a robot vacuum cleaner? Taking into account that we can spend the same amount on a manual handheld vacuum cleaner from brands like Dyson and knowing that this Xiaomi is fully automatic, I am beginning to see that between 300 and 500 euros for a high-end device like this is a price that It’s actually fine.
But of course, if you can find it on sale, much better.
