Xbox has announced a new friend referral program for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members, allowing users to gift a PC Game Pass 14-day free trial of duration up to five friends who are new to the platform.
The video game company owned by Microsoft intends to introduce new users to its Game Pass subscription servicegiving the opportunity to discover “a curated library of hundreds of PC games”, as well as connect and chat with friends.
In this sense, Xbox has launched a friend referral program with which users can invite up to five new players to one 14 day free trial for PC GamePasswith all the benefits of this service included.
As the company explains in a statement from your blogthe test includes the new Xbox Game Studios titlesas well as a EA Play membership and PC and mobile games on PC from Riot Games.
In addition, users who try Game Pass will be able to link your Riot Games account to your Xbox profile to unlock Agents, Champions, or Little Legends in games like Valorant, League of Legends, and Legends of Runeterra.
This test also includes “high quality” computer games from developers around the world, as Forza Horizon 5 and Sea of Thieves, among others. They will even have all the new and newly added games at the time of using the trial period.
In order to give away these tests, Game Pass users will find referral invitations of friends in the starting screen Game Pass on Windows. In this way, it will suffice to select the button ‘Give PC Game Pass’ to share the test with another user. However, Xbox warns that in order to redeem this test, invited friends “must be new” to the platform.
