Xbox has launched its new subscription plan for consoles Game Pass Standardwhich gives access to the entire Xbox game library, excluding new releases from day one, for 12.99 euros per month.
Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s cloud gaming service that, through subscription, allows access to Hundreds of Xbox titles and is available for both consoles and PCs and other devices such as mobile phones, tablets or TVs. In addition, this format allows the mode online multiplayeras well as the video game downloadand includes other exclusive offers and rewards for its members.
The video game company announced a series of updates to its Xbox Game Pass platform in July, including price increases for Ultimate, Core and PC subscriptions, as well as the introduction of a new Standard plan.
Now, Xbox has Officially launched the new Game Pass Standard subscription planwhich offers all the essential features of the Game Pass program, That is, online multiplayer mode, access to its entire library of games and offers for selected games, as detailed by the company in a statement on its website.
This includes popular titles such as Halo, Age of Empires, Minecraft, Forza Horizon 5 and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, which will be playable on consoles in “high quality.”
However, the Standard plan differs from the Ultimate option in that the Players will not be able to access new titles from launch daybut they must wait for them to become available laterIn this way, the Standard plan replaces the old Basic plan, and can be contracted for 12.99 euros per month in Spain.
The company has also carried out the price increase in the rest of their plans. In this way, Game Pass Ultimate now costs 17.99 euros per month in Spain (instead of the previous €14.99).
Subscription to Game Pass Core is priced at 6.99 euros per monthinstead of 5.99 euros, and the option Game Pass for PC now costs 11.99 euros (instead of 9.99 euros).
