Xbox has announced a new version for its consoles, in which there is the option to chat with other players through Discord voice chats, which is now available to users of its beta and coming soon to more players.

Discord Voice is a feature that allows Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One gamers to connect with their friends and Discord communities through voice channels or group calls.

In this way, the tool allows you to know during the game who stays on the call or who speaks, as well as adjust the sound or switch between Discord Voice and game chat, as Microsoft announced a few days ago.

However, the company has announced that the scope of this option has been expanded and that beta users will receive it soon via Xbox Update Previewwhich enables the ability to chat in Discord Voice on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.


To use it, users will need to download the latest version of the Xbox mobile app. Android device users will need to install the Discord beta app.

On Xbox, choose the ‘Chats’ option, then ‘Try Discord Voice on Xbox, using your mobile phone to scan the QR code. Thanks to this, Xbox will be able to know that it is a user belonging to Xbox Insider.
