Xbox is considering offering users of its cloud gaming subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, a cheaper version with certain limitations, including the download only option (and not transmission) of video games.

Microsoft is now considering introducing a new plan with a reduced price of 2.99 euro. To find out how this proposal would be received, the company has implemented a survey among users, which it has shared ResetEra.

The new basic subscription would have a monthly price of 2.99 euros and would be limited to a single user. The company has indicated that, in relation to the supported devices, you can choose between console and PC and that with this plan you can play your own titles that are 6 months or older.
This limited mode would also include online multiplayer and advertising before the game, as well as the possibility of downloading the titles and not streaming them, functionality that it does have. the other video game subscription plan with friends and family.
This would be priced at 21.99 euros and would house up to five users, who can use any combination of PC, Xbox, mobile and ‘Smart TV’. Also, subscribers to this plan they would have access to more than 100 games “to which more will be added over time,” according to this survey.
Players of this other plan will also be able to play their own titles that are 6 months old or older, access exclusive discounts for members, EA Play, console games on PC, telephone and other devices via the cloud and online multiplayer.
