It’s been a while since Microsoft’s video game streaming platform, Xbox Cloud Gaming, added support for mouse and keyboard in its “beta” program, allowing players to use these peripherals as an input method instead of the typical “gamepad.”
Now, in the new update for may, This functionality comes out of the Xbox Insider preview version and It is now available for all Game Pass Ultimate plan customers through Edge or Chrome browsers.
Although many games are optimized to use analog controllers, the truth is that there are certain titles where a better experience is achieved with a mouse and keyboard by allowing much faster and more precise movements. Games like competitive shooters are usually the most representative example of where you get a better control with keyboard and mouse, although it is increasingly common for companies like Activision to add “cheats” to try to give gamepad users an advantage, such as the standard “aimbot” in games like Warzone.
The list of games with mouse and keyboard support within the Xbox Cloud Gaming catalog will grow little by little in the coming weeks until reaching a total of only 25 games. It is to be hoped that little by little it will expand.
At the moment, these are the titles that can be played with mouse and keyboard on Xbox Cloud Gaming:
- ARK Survival Evolved
- Atomic Heart
- Cities: Skylines – Mayor’s Edition
- Cities: Skylines – Remastered

- Doom 64
