Xbox Cloud Gaming is officially coming to Meta Quest 2

Xbox Cloud Gaming is a way to enjoy our favorite titles from any platformand it is precisely this subsection, “any platform”, which is becoming more and more extensive, because as announced today, Microsoft is working with Meta to bring the service to the Meta Quest Store.

This means that Xbox Cloud Gaming will be available, at a minimum, in Meta Quest 2, although it could potentially be available in future Meta Quest Proan evolution of the Meta glasses that should catch up with more expensive and powerful models from other brands.

As is already the case, we will need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to use Xbox Cloud Gaming in Meta Quest 2and although we will not be able to enjoy VR titles in general, we will be able to play on a virtual 2D screen, like a cinema screen, the Xbox games that we like the most, without even having to use the Oculus controllers.

Neither Microsoft nor Meta have announced an exact date of arrival of this service to Meta Quest 2, as well as other details, so it will be a matter of waiting for a complete presentation about this arrival.
