Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Gives Up on God of War: Ragnarok

Sony and Xbox have taken different paths with respect to their consoles. While Microsoft seeks to unify the libraries of computers and Xbox One / Series X with Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation continues to bet on exclusive titles for PS4 and PS5What God of War: Ragnarok.

The Kratos title will go on sale on November 9 of this year on PlayStation consoles. Despite this, it has become one of the most anticipated titles of Phil Spencer, head of Xbox.

The Xbox Twitter account shared a fun interaction asking the community to share some of their favorite or most anticipated games. One of the first to reply was Phil Spencer.

The first title that got him into the world of gaming was Pong, while the last one that has passed is Road 96. His favorite has been Robotron 2084 and he declares that he is hooked on Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels.

The next game you mention certainly surprises everyone. In the section of the next game that he wants to enjoy is God of War: Ragnarok. But it’s not the first time he’s been excited about what Cory Barlog’s team can do.

He has had multiple interactions with the director of Santa Monica Studios where he defended the team against criticism from the community.
