With this simple trick you can make the battery of your DualSense last a little longer

How long does the battery last for your DualSense?

The DualSense for PlayStation 5 is a comfortable controller with several unique features, but it has a huge problem: its very short battery life. Although in theory a full charge should last you about 12 hours of autonomy, the reality is very different. Fortunately, there is a little trick that could help mitigate this situation.

In accordance with john glasscock, a content creator with over 800,000 subscribers on YouTube, there’s a little trick that will give you a little more play time between full charges of the DualSense. As you may be imagining, it has to do with turning off by default a feature that you probably don’t get the most out of.

One of the elements that makes the DualSense different is that it has a microphone. In case you don’t know, this microphone is on by default and you have the opportunity to change that. To do it, you simply have to enter the settings of your PlayStation 5 and look for the option to turn it off, as the youtuber shows in his video.

Another option is to reduce the volume of the DualSense’s built-in speaker, which you can do in the sound settings menu. You can also turn off the haptic vibration or the intensity of the resistance of the triggers. The latter can be done in the controller configuration from the accessories menu.
