Over the years, we have accumulated thousands of emails in our email account, especially ones like Gmail.
This makes it quite difficult to find an email that was sent to you months or even years ago, due to the enormous number of emails you have received and the few filter options that the Google platform offers you.
But this could change very soon, because according to reports from Android Authority Google is going to include new filters within the Gmail application so that we can find any email.
Currently, if you do a search in the app Gmailit gives you a couple of results relevant to the query, and then as many others that appear in descending order by date.
This is not enough for us to find that lost email that was sent to us years ago, but luckily, Googlein the latest preview version of the Gmail app, is going to include a new filter.
This filter will appear below the search bar, but above the results, and by tapping on it we can choose between “most relevant” or “most recent”.
This filter would be of great help if we want to find a lost email that we have in Gmail. Unfortunately the filter seems to be only being prepared for the mobile version.
In addition to this filter, different cards are also being displayed in the search results, specifically at the top of the page, but they only appear in purchase emails.
This filter will be available in the stable version of the app in the coming weeks.
