It is not uncommon to find devices that have a touch screen today, whether they are tablets or convertible computers with a touch screen, and Microsoft knows that. That is why in the Windows 11 Insider Build 23481we found a new use functionality that will allow us, with a touch input pen, manually write above a text field.
When we write on top of a text field, the ink interface will take control of the text inputlocating the nearest text field and entering the text in it to speed up the entry of handwritten textsomething that currently requires you to click on the text field and open the typing field.
Obviously, it is a feature that may not be liked by everyone, which is why, for the moment, Although it will exist, it will have to be activated in the Windows settings, specifically in the Bluetooth settings, where the Windows Ink settings are hidden.
Without a doubt, it will be an interesting change for Windows users, at least for those who make intensive use of its touch interface, something that can sometimes seem a bit complicated to use.
