This morning all Xbox fans rolled their eyes on an announcement from Logitech. Not because it introduced a cool new accessory for the console, but because it showed off an Xbox Series X that we’ve never seen before. It was a console with the same shape as always, but with the difference being that its design was completely white.
It’s a cool design, so many have wondered if it’s a real console or if it was just made for the announcement. After several hours with that huge question hanging around the Internet, Microsoft decided it was time to clarify the situation.
A Microsoft spokesperson clarified to VGC.com that, at the moment, they have no intention of launching a white Xbox Series X. Thus, the console was only made for the Logitech commercial and there are no plans for it to go into mass production.
“The white Xbox Series X console for our partner’s promotional video is not in production. At this time we have no plans to release that Xbox Series X console,” Microsoft said.

Now, this is not to say that there will never be a white Xbox Series X. It is normal for companies to launch their consoles in various colors and designs. So, it is likely that at some point we will see a white Xbox Series X, especially seeing the attention that the console of this color attracted.
