Whoopi Goldberg Debunks Joe Rogan’s ‘Fake News’ Trump Interview

Whoopi Goldberg is not leaving Joe RoganThe version of events gets in the way of the truth.

He “ViewThe co-host addresses several falsehoods Rogan made during a Friday podcast. interview with donald trumpstarting with her supposedly “favorable” treatment of Trump when he was “running for president” and sat on his show around “2015 or 2016.”

“There is a lot of fake news emerging, so let’s clear some up.” Goldberg said Monday on “The View.” after playing a clip of Rogan remembering the wrong time period. “Actually, in that clip, it was 2011, four years before he announced he was running.”

“That’s the first thing they got wrong,” he added before showing even more receipts.

Goldberg debunked another curiously imagined claim that emerged during the “Joe Rogan Experience“episode. Rogan said Goldberg gave Trump “a big hug and a kiss” when he left, and that Goldberg, as well as his fellow co-host Joy Behar and then co-host Barbara Walters – “everyone loved you” at that moment.

“The View” played footage of “the actual appearance,” in which Goldberg stares into the camera, unsmiling, as Walters introduces Trump. Walters refers to Trump as “my friend,” similar to Rogan’s description, and also calls him a “real estate mogul and TV star.” Then he asks, “But do you really want to add the president of the United States to your resume? …Let’s find out.”

“Did I look warm and fuzzy? Was it a warm and welcoming welcome for him? Goldberg said Monday, as the show zoomed in on his face in the clip. “But because I respect Barbara, you know, and she said, ‘Be courteous to guests no matter what,’ and for the most part I got over it, I did it.”

“But this is where they really went wrong,” Goldberg continued, sharing a clip of Rogan saying that the show’s hosts painted Trump “in such a favorable light.”

“Honey, Joe,” Goldberg said. “I think you missed this part.”

“The View” then showed starkly contradictory evidence from Trump’s interview on the show, in which Goldberg calls Trump out to his face for his racist birth campaign against the then president barack obama.

“I think that’s the most dog poop I’ve heard in a long time. “It’s because he’s black,” he says in the clip. “Was any white president asked to show him his birth certificate? When you become president of the United States of America, you know it’s American. “I’m sorry, that’s nonsense.”
