( Spanish) – Daniela Toloza is in charge of representing Colombia in Miss Universe 2024, the global beauty pageant whose final will be held on November 16 in Mexico City.
Toloza, born in Cali, Colombia, is a specialist in Senior Management, Advertising and Public Relations and is the country’s representative in Miss Universe, since she was the winner in June as Miss Universe Colombia (MUC). A contest that was born in 2020 after the National Beauty Queen (RNB) lost the Miss Universe franchise. From that moment on, the MUC was in charge of selecting the Colombian representative who would arrive at the global Miss Universe pageant.
Thus, Daniela Toloza stands out for being the first Miss Universe Colombia from its Valle del Cauca department.
At 30 years old, the model is also a professional in costume design. Through her Instagram account, the Colombian shared that for several years faced a fight against being overweightweighing 106 kg.
“All my life I admired this pageant and the connotation it gives to beauty. Yes, beauty opens doors, it allows you to be a focus of attention to speak and give your message and I precisely understand that for Miss Universe, beauty must be accompanied by genuine leadership,” she wrote in her publication, making an invitation to celebrate “all bodies.” ”.
Although Daniela Toloza has stood out for her emblem of mental health and love for diverse bodies, her participation in Miss Universe has also focused her on showing other details of Colombia through fashion.
