White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is traveling to Saudi Arabia and Israel this weekend to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the efforts to achieve peace in both the Gaza Strip and the Middle East.

“(Sullivan) will travel to Saudi Arabia tomorrow. During his meeting with the Israeli side, the senior US official will discuss the details of both the offensive in Gaza and the negotiations for a ceasefire and the release of all the hostages.

Sullivan will also speak about the current humanitarian crisis that the Palestinian people are experiencing while expressing his support for the Israeli forces in their objective of “militarily” defeating the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
