Epic Games recently announced via his FortniteStatus account that the current season will end a bit early. Initial announcements had the season finale around March 10, but it will now close on March 8.
“Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season 1 now ends on March 8, a few days earlier than announced. Log in anytime from March 2nd to get a Supercharged XP boost every day and finish the season and the Battle Pass strong!”reads the publication.
Generally speaking, new seasons arrive the day after the end of a previous one. In very few cases, such as changing from Chapter 2 to Chapter 3 or from Chapter 3 to Chapter 4, more time is needed in between.
However, since it is not expected that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has a major overhaul before Chapter 4 Season 2, downtime will likely be minimal.
That means Chapter 4 Season 2 will start on March 9. At the latest, you can arrive the next day, March 10. However, there is no time for this, since the updates arrive at different times.
