It’s been a long time since WhatsApp launched a separate platform for businesses, something that allows us to have business accounts that represent stores. Now, as we read in The Vergewe will find ourselves in the normal WhatsApp application with a business search feature that would be reminiscent of how outdated the yellow pages are today.
Nevertheless, It would also have payment systems that would allow us to make purchases directly through WhatsApp, something that for now is still not fully deployed and is in the testing phase in Brazil, so that we can make the payment through WhatsApp without leaving the app or making a transaction in person.
WhatsApp for now has only explained that this feature will be available in the future in more countries, but it has not specified how long it will take for it or in which countries it will be available. so for now we can assume that it is only available in India and Brazil.
It is possible that the WhatsApp payment functionality works on the same technology that we already find in other Meta platforms, Well, it is not the first network of the conglomerate to accept payments so that we do not have to abandon its application at any time.
