WhatsApp will allow you to share photos at their original resolution

Currently, WhatsApp allows us to select the quality of the photos we send, being able to choose between three options: Automatic, Best quality and Data saving. But even choosing the ‘Best quality’ option, WhatsApp compresses the photos before sending them.

What will WhatsApp offer again?

According to the specialized media and that had access to the Beta version of this new option when sending photos, a new configuration icon can be seen inside the header of the drawing tool: this will allow users to configure the quality of any photo.

Thanks to this option, which is still in the testing phase, it is possible to choose the original quality of the images.

This option to send photos with their original quality is under development and its release is scheduled for a future WhatsApp update.
