Throughout this year, we have been receiving a multitude of new features for the WhatsApp instant messaging application, many related to design, but also to privacy and security.
However, sometimes small new features can become indispensable features when using the messaging app.
Now in the latest beta version for iOS has been discovered that the engineers of WhatsApp They are implementing a draft message feature.
The feature was already launched some time ago on desktop, and where basically in the conversation list a reference appears that we have a message written but not sent, that is, the usual draft.
Now this same feature is coming to mobile devices, iOS and also Android.
This new drafts feature It makes it easier to detect those unsent messages that we have started to write in a conversation.
Previously, when we started typing a message in a conversation and didn’t send it, there was no view or reference to it in the chat list.
From very early on, if we have left a conversation halfway with a written but unsent message, The conversation list itself shows a reference to the fact that we have a draft.
This is very important, because sometimes in a hurry, we may have forgotten to send a specific message in a conversation.
Having this reference in the message preview within the conversation list makes it easier for us to re-enter the message and finish writing to send it.
This draft label ensures that we don’t forget that a conversation has an incomplete message when we return to the chats.
