Thanks to the existence of the instant messaging application WhatsApp we have practically forgotten about normal calls, being able to make most of them through the application, including video calls.
And now WhatsApp is preparing a new call dialer function for iOS, a dialer that was previously released on Android, but is not exactly the same.
The latest beta version for WhatsApp for iOS has been revealed that a new caller dialer feature in the app is being prepared for these users.
As you can see in the screenshot provided by wabetainfothis call dialer allows you to make calls very easily by simply entering a phone number directly into the application.
Thanks to the new entry point, users will find an option to open this new call dialer, allowing them to enter the number they want.
When the number has been entered, WhatsApp will confirm if it is registered on the platform.
Additionally, if this number corresponded to a verified merchant account, The application will also show you the relevant check mark.
So with this new integrated call dialer we are allowed to make calls directly without having to save the number in our contact list.
At the moment it is only for some WhatsApp beta testers to iOSbut presumably it won’t be available in a stable version until well into 2025.
Get to know how we work in ComputerToday.
