What’s new in X, the platform that replaces Twitter?

What is it and what changes come with X Corp?

The existence of X Corp was revealed in April of this year, due to a lawsuit against the company that revealed legal documents demonstrating the merger of Twitter with the new company, in addition to identifying X Holding Group as the parent of both companies.

Although the most important change on the platform is at the image level, the application already has a series of modifications in its operation and several of them are oriented towards the form of monetization for content creators, such as the fact that 5 million impressions per month are not required to get paid or that in the future it will be possible to pay for views on a profile.

Another of the modifications that would come to the platform is the change of the name of the followers. According to a response from Musk to a user, this could be Viewers or Spectators, plus there will be new forms of content moderation and discussion around a profile block.

For the moment, the change of image is already official in the desktop version of the platform, which can be accessed through the domains x.com and twitter.com. In the case of the mobile app, the change is expected to be made in the next update.
