There is no doubt that video game adaptations to film and television are enjoying a great moment. One of the next will be Five Nights at Freddy’swhich has been cooking for years and today we know not only that it can be enjoyed from home at its premiere, but also what its plot would be.
As we told you weeks ago, Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures announced that the film Five Nights at Freddy’s it will finally debut later this year in theaters. However, this month it was revealed that the same day of its box office debut, the film will be available via streaming, precisely on the Peacock platform (via Deadline).
Unfortunately, this platform is not available in Mexico or elsewhere in Latin America, so we do not know if another service will be chosen for these regions.

What will be the plot of Five Nights at Freddy’s?
Those responsible for the project had only revealed in the film the young Mike Schmidt, played by Josh Hutcherson, gets a job at the local Freddy’s Fazbear’s Pizzeria in order to get extra money to get ahead together with his little sister, Abby, who will come to life thanks to actress Piper Rubio, whom he carries with him to the establishment. Both will be threatened by the animatronics of the place and their mission will then be to get out alive.
However, the well-known and accurate informant Dusk Golem shared on Twitter a much larger excerpt of what is supposed to be the plot of the film, which offers details about the animatronics and the protagonists.
SPOILER: Before you continue reading, you should know that there will be some plot details, as in any synopsis, that you may want to avoid if you want to discover them when you watch the movie, without any previous information.
In case you missed it: expert studio in puppets and visual effects will be in charge of the fearsome animatronics of the film Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Mike thought the job would be simple, but it would be more complicated than he thought when he discovers that the 4 animatronics of the place, the image of the brand, come to life and try to kill anyone inside the pizzeria premises beyond midnight. Thus, the brothers will have to do everything possible to stay safe that night.
Then joins the action Vanessa Monroe, played by Elizabeth Lail, a security officer who reveals the macabre schemes and management of the pizzeria, co-founded by William Afton, played by Matthew Lillard, a murderer of children, whose ghosts possess the animatronics, from which the main trio will have to escape.
