On December 18, niantic held the most important Community Day in Pokémon GO. All the featured creatures of the year appeared and all players benefited from the event bonuses.
Well, after this great meeting of trainers, it is time for the last event of the year 2023. We refer to the New Year 2023, which will feature a special Pikachu with a party hat.

Our New Year’s Eve Party will feature Pokémon dressed for the occasion, a new pose and clothing for the avatar, and much more! Go for 2023! Let’s go! ”, Niantic details in his official blog.
During Saturday, December 31 through January 4, players will be able to catch the special Pikachu, while Noctowl will feature a New Year’s Eve outfit. The sky in the game will also be filled with lights from the fireworks.
As if this were not enough, Wurmple will be one of the Pokémon that will have the highest percentage of appearances in its wild form and will arrive with a party hat.

Reshiram that are part of the raids will have the special move Fusion Flame, which does 90 damage in trainer fights and 140 in raids. Finally, there are two bonuses for all players.
- Half the distance needed to hatch when laying Eggs in an incubator during the event.
- A quarter distance needed to hatch the first three Eggs that hatch during the event with the Pokémon GO Egg Hatching Widget.
