( Spanish) — The United States is currently going through its first northeast storm of the season, which has brought with it power outages, difficult driving, strong winds and snow from this Monday.
The storm will continue to impact this Tuesday in the Northeast region of the United States and its effects are expected to begin to diminish since Wednesday.

Snowfall in the US due to the northeast storm

Clearly, the northern region of the East Coast is the most affected in this section, with more inches of snow in Massachusetts, New York and Vermont.

So what to expect this Tuesday in the current Northeast system?
- Widespread Snow Forecast: 6 to 18 inches of snow is likely from northeast Pennsylvania and the northwestern tip of New Jersey to much of upstate NY and New Englandaccording to him Meteorological Prediction Center. Higher elevations, such as New York’s Catskill and Adirondack mountains, could see isolated amounts of more than 2 feet of snow.
- Philadelphia and NY may receive small amounts of snow this Tuesday afternoon, but Boston it could see up to about 4 inches near Logan International Airport, the National Weather Service said, warning overnight travelers they could face snow-covered roads.
- Snow could fall quickly: 2 to 3 inches of snow per hour is possible in the interior Northeast region and along the Interstate 95 corridor from south of New England until Portland, Maine.
