( Spanish) –– So far this year until April 18, the Argentine currency has devalued 20.9% against the official dollar. In relation to the blue dollar, informal or parallel, it fell 20.8%, according to specialized stock exchange sites.
What is happening with the dollar in Latin America?
Here we present information on the evolution of the nominal value of the currencies of Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela and Peru.
The following data correspond to the reports of the central banks of each of these countries.
- The Mexican peso appreciated 7.4%.
- The Brazilian real also advanced 4.8%.
- The Uruguayan peso has beaten the dollar with an appreciation of 2.8%.
- The Colombian peso enjoys a similar situation with a rise of 7.9%.
- The Chilean peso registers an identical movement, although of 7.5%.
- The Paraguayan peso also rose 3.1%.
- The Bolivian peso has not suffered fluctuations in its official exchange rate.
