What I liked most about the iPhone 16 Pro is still its 5x zoom

Last year I made it clear in my analysis of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The best thing about that mobile was the camera with a 5x zoom. The main camera is good, but that zoom has excellent quality and gives you great versatility when taking photos.

Well, the same thing has happened this year with the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max because its best feature is that 12 megapixel camera with a lens that allows you to magnify the image up to 5 times.

I’m not saying the iPhone 16 Pro’s cameras are perfect. Not at all. But Apple has a camera system that has become the standard due to its great popularity. They have problems, like all mobile cameras, but there is no doubt that based on sales they have standardized what mobile photography is.

There is no doubt that 99.9% of us when we take photos we do so in automatic mode. I would dare to say that the vast majority of our photos are easily removable, some selfiesome nonsense that we have seen out there, a purchase receipt, a capture of a document… But When you take out that 5x zoom, especially when taking photos on vacation, you understand how versatile it is..

The telephoto lens of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max is not only good for taking a closer photo of an object or building, it also gives brutal results when taking portrait photos.

iPhone 16 Pro Max’s Endless Battery Is Worthy of Note

Not only is the iPhone 16 Pro’s telephoto lens good, I think I can’t stop talking about the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s battery.

Last year I chose the iPhone 15 Pro Max as my personal mobile phone because of its telephoto lens, yes, but also because the autonomy of the largest model is endless.

One year later, The 4,441 mAh of the iPhone 15 Pro Max still seems to me to be one of the best used batteries never put on a smartphone. It’s incredibly rare that the day I give it a ton of use and it doesn’t arrive at the end of the day, or even the end of the night, with enough battery to last me through the morning of the next day.

It will take a few months until I can speak with complete confidence about the batteries of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, but Apple being Apple, it would very badly have to do it with future versions of iOS 18 so that the Pro Max battery does not become unbeatable again.
