What are the characteristics of the Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 and Z16 presented at the Mobile World Congress 2023

At Mobile World Congress 2023, Lenovo has introduced the second generation on ThinkPad Z13 and Z16 series notebooks with Windows 11 that includes improvements in hardware and software functionality. One of the main attractions is the new Lenovo Commercial Vantage application, which through clearly identified labels and information, intuitive system functions guide the user to activate certain settings that will help reduce energy consumption or extend component life.

The ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 They are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors with AMD Radeon 700M Series graphics, Windows 11, and can be configured with up to 64GB of Dual Channel memory and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD to help users power through the most demanding tasks. In addition, the ThinkPad Z13 also features a new Flax Fiber top cover, which uses bio-based materials for a unique individual look and feel. In that line, the ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 features a new optional natural fiber reinforced material bonded to the 75% recycled aluminum top cover. This woven linen material is made from a 100% agricultural product harvested by harvesting fibers from the flax plant.

Distinctive look and feel with thin and light form factors and ultra-narrow bezels translate to greater ThinkPad appeal. The fast and reliable Wi-Fi 6E3 connection translates to the communications bar with its FHD camera and Dolby Voice-enabled microphones delivering a premium audiovisual experience for powerful and engaging collaborative productivity, especially with a dispersed workforce.

A haptic touchpad along with the iconic TrackPoint allows comfortable and precise entry, as preferred. Double-clicking on the latter opens a TrackPoint quick menu showing four menu cards. These menu cards can now be customized based on user preferences from a list of options including camera and microphone functionality, but also certain preferred audio device and battery settings can be quickly configured such as Bluetooth or the built-in speakers.
